The Gods Of A New Era!



Every temple in the country is under lock & key, so are all churches or other places of religious importance! But why? Why isn’t God being made available to help us now? Is there a message for us in this?

The pandemic is a wake-up call to human kind & the #lockdown a god-sent opportunity to sit in peace & reflect. #Reflect on the values our forefathers taught us. Reflect on the compromises we made to achieve what we term as ‘success’.

Today when the world is being battered by #Covid19, we see the messengers of God all around us! They wear #PPE and come calling on every ailing soul to provide relief & belief. You see them in hospitals, clinics, ambulances and at times even on the roads, braving it out, showing courage that is beyond common men. They are standing up to their commitment to serve humanity by defying ‘the ultimate truth’.

These ‘messengers of god’ are known by terms like Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, Sanitation Workers etc. in layman’s language and the religion they propagate is called ‘Humanity’. To them it matters not as to which God you believe in, in fact, they are so compassionate that they are seen treating even those among us who have been possessed enough to ‘spit’ on them.

At Corbett The Baagh Spa & Resort, we are blessed to have one such messenger in our family! 


Dr. Vinod Ahlwawat (Younger brother of Mr. K.P.Singh, Managing Director) is a senior specialist working with the Government of Delhi and is currently assigned special duty to monitor #COVID19 patients on #quarantine in North Delhi. Dr. Sir (as he is fondly called) has been an inspiration for each one of us during these tough times. It was under his expert supervision that we pulled off the lockdown of our sprawling resort and the sanitation drives across Patkote village here in #Corbett National Park.  

Dr. Sir, is braving the odds on a daily basis and is working 18 hours per day to help residents of Delhi fight this terrible #pandemic. Each one of us are extremely proud of our beloved Dr. Sir and pray for his safety every day. We have learnt many lessons of selfless service from our ‘ever smiling’ Dr. Sir during this phase and continue to imbibe in us the dedication that he is displaying in #NationalService’.

You make our chest swell with pride Dr. Sir! It is a privilege to have ‘messengers’ like you among us ‘mere mortals’. A big thank you to you from each of us at Corbett The Baagh Spa & Resort! We love you!

We appeal to each citizen of India to please help fight the pandemic by simply staying locked up at home. Your act will lessen the burden on these 'messengers' and will help our nation come out of this with flying colors.
